Position Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for individuals who possess a Grade C Security Grade qualification and are registered with PSIRA. As a Security Guard at AAS Security, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients’ assets and promoting a secure atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Enforce security protocols to ensure the safety of personnel and property. Maintain a vigilant presence and respond effectively to any security breaches. Conduct thorough security checks of the premises and report any irregularities.

Monitor surveillance systems to detect and deter suspicious activities. Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to visitors and staff. Collaborate with team members to address security concerns and implement solutions.

Requirements:

Valid Grade C Security Grade qualification is essential. Active and valid PSIRA registration is mandatory. Proficiency in spoken English is necessary to facilitate effective communication. Must have reliable transportation to and from the workplace.

Previous experience in the security field is highly valued. Strong sense of trustworthiness and integrity. Willingness to work 12-hour shifts as required. Dedication to further training and professional development.

Desired Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in the security industry is preferred. Bilingual proficiency in both Afrikaans and English is an advantage.

Shift Availability:

Flexibility to work night shifts and day shifts is preferred.

Location Requirements:

Applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to Brakpan, Gauteng, before starting work.
