Cashiers

Duties:

Manage transactions with customers using cash registers. Keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate. Receive payments whether in cash or credit and issue receipts. Issue receipts, refunds, changes or tickets. Cross-sell products and introduce new ones. Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information. Greet customers when entering or leaving the store. Handle merchandise returns and exchanges and replenish stock. Handling and packing food for various campaigns. Cleaning of workstation and maintaining a hygienic work ethic.

Requirements:

Matric. Must have at least 2 years prior experience as a cashier. Must have experience working on the cash register. Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen. Manual dexterity ability to operate POS, basic computer literacy. Must be able to work weekend shifts occasionally. Bilingual is a plus, but not mandatory. Motivated and committed to meeting and exceeding our customer’s expectations.
