Position: Parts Picker-Packer

Company Overview: Jelocorp is a reputable organization committed to delivering excellence in the automotive industry. We are currently seeking a Parts Picker-Packer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations.

Position Summary: As a Parts Picker-Packer at Jelocorp, your primary responsibilities will include handling various tasks such as receiving, binning, picking, packing, quality checking, and dispatching parts. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and diligent execution of these tasks while supporting our workshop’s constant supply of parts. Additionally, maintaining high standards of customer service, safety, and cleanliness within the workspace will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute tasks including receiving, binning, picking, packing, quality checking, and dispatching of parts with precision and diligence. Administer and execute the supply of parts to the workshop, guaranteeing efficient support. Conduct double checks on all picked parts before packing them for dispatch.

Prioritize quick action on picking slips to prevent delays for clients. Maintain a tidy and well-documented workspace, ensuring no parts are left unattended or without proper documentation. Allocate receipted parts to their designated locations promptly. Update the system with new parts’ locations in a timely manner.

Ensure that parts picked more than 5 days ago are properly returned to their locations. Strive for excellent task performance and personal work efficiency. Uphold the minimum standards required by FAW SA in all tasks. Actively participate in relevant training programs.

Foster strong relationships with colleagues and peers. Report any damaged parts, misconduct, or unsafe practices and situations. Prioritize a customer-first mentality in all interactions. Utilize Company vehicles for parts delivery and collection as requested by management. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times. Maintain proper compliance with Company rules, especially regarding tool use and asset management. Uphold a clean and organized work area.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric Certificate. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in counting, reading, and writing in English. Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations

Key Performance Indicators:

Proactive and confident approach, with the ability to anticipate issues and requirements Exceptional attention to detail. Capability to maintain cleanliness, organization, and tidiness consistently. Flexibility to assist with other warehouse duties when required by Supervisor/Manager

Personal Attributes:

A strong team player. Physically fit for the demands of the role. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure. Capacity to work independently without constant supervision
