Job Description:
As a Retail Salesperson at Good Knight Bedding, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their bedding and furniture needs. Your responsibilities will include:
Customer Engagement:
Greet and assist customers as they enter the store. Listen attentively to customer needs and provide product recommendations. Offer a warm and welcoming shopping experience to all customers. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Product Knowledge:
Familiarize yourself with our range of beds and furniture products. Stay updated on product features, specifications, and promotions. Effectively communicate product benefits and features to customers. Assist customers in selecting the right products to meet their requirements.
Sales Performance:
Achieve sales targets and goals set by the store. Utilize effective sales techniques to convert customer inquiries into sales. Calculate pricing, apply discounts, and process transactions accurately. Handle cash and electronic payments securely and efficiently.
Merchandising:
Maintain the store’s visual appearance by organizing and arranging products. Ensure that product displays are attractive and well-maintained. Monitor product inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
Customer Service Excellence:
Uphold a high standard of customer service at all times. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
Sales Experience: A minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a retail setting. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Customer-Centric: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and convey product information. Sales Drive: Motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets. Math Skills: Proficient in basic mathematical calculations for pricing and transactions.
