About Us:
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Courier to join our team at Cedar Road Fourways. This position offers a full-time opportunity with 45 weekly hours. As a Courier, you will play a crucial role in collecting and delivering reports, specimens, and parcels efficiently and promptly to and from various locations, including wards, hospitals, doctor’s rooms, factories, and our valued clients, utilizing a company vehicle.
Position Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the timely collection and delivery of essential items, maintaining strong client relations, and ensuring the safekeeping and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment to provide exceptional service.
Requirements:
To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
Education: Grade 10 or equivalent. Driver’s License: Valid South African Drivers Licence (Code A) and Valid South African drivers license (Code EB). Experience: Previous driving experience is preferred, along with knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and national traffic rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Courier, your key responsibilities will include:
Collection and Delivery: Collect and deliver reports, specimens, and parcels promptly to ensure that clients and labs receive them on time. Client Relations: Maintain good client relations to uphold the image and reputation of Ampath consistently.
Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the safekeeping and proper maintenance of company vehicles and relevant equipment, ensuring they remain in working order to deliver excellent service.
