We’re looking for a Franchise Analyst who will support the Head of Franchising, Franchise Specialists, and Franchise Dealmakers. In this role, you’ll be a pivotal part of our franchise support team, using your expertise in credit and risk assessment to gather, compile, and analyze franchise-related information. You will help us drive forward Capitec’s franchise initiatives by ensuring comprehensive data management, insightful analytics, and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
About the Role
As a Franchise Analyst, you’ll engage in various responsibilities, including data collection and credit analysis, which will directly influence credit decision-making processes. Your expertise will help streamline franchise applications and improve service quality, empowering our franchise clients to achieve their business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Support Franchise Operations: Collaborate closely with the Head of Franchising, Franchise Specialists, and Franchise Dealmakers, helping manage franchise-related information to maintain accuracy and accessibility across the department. Data Collection & Compilation: Capture and organize data critical to franchise operations, including credit applications, risk assessments, and client relationship information. Credit Risk Assessment: Perform in-depth credit risk analysis and portfolio assessments, applying best practices to evaluate franchise deals and ensure alignment with Capitec’s lending guidelines.
Stakeholder Engagement: Achieve key objectives by liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring streamlined communication and coordination between all parties. Franchise Analytics: Utilize analytics tools and methods to perform credit analyses, enhancing our decision-making processes and supporting franchise client needs. Administrative Oversight: Oversee administrative processes involving multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate completion of necessary documents and evaluations.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in credit and risk management within the banking industry, ideally with some experience or understanding of franchising. This individual should possess strong analytical skills, a knack for managing complex data, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders to ensure all franchise requirements are met.
Experience
Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of experience within a banking environment, specifically in credit analysis, credit applications, credit risk assessment, and portfolio management. Experience achieving objectives through effective stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with administrative processes involving multiple teams or departments. Strong background in performing credit analytics to support credit decision-making in a business context.
Preferred Experience: Direct experience in a franchising environment or with franchise financing.
Educational Background
Knowledge and Skills
Essential Knowledge: Strong understanding of general administration, information coordination, and tracking methods. Familiarity with client and people relationship management techniques. Proficiency in principles, methods, and tools for analysis. Ability to interpret and work with financial analytics data.
Preferred Knowledge: Understanding of the franchise market and franchise business needs. Awareness of sales principles, methodologies, tools, and processes. Knowledge of business client financing requirements in a banking context.
