Open Positions
We are actively recruiting for two primary roles within our stores: Sales/Floor Assistants and Cashiers. These positions play an essential role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers, helping them find exactly what they need, and ensuring smooth and efficient checkout processes.
Sales/Floor Assistants
As a Sales/Floor Assistant at Tekkie Town, you will be a vital part of our customer experience, providing guidance and assistance to customers and keeping our store displays engaging and well-stocked.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers with a friendly attitude. Provide personalized assistance and product knowledge to help customers find their ideal footwear and accessories. Maintain and organize store displays, ensuring they are tidy, appealing, and reflect the latest promotions. Assist with receiving and unpacking stock, restocking items on the floor as needed. Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products. Support in-store promotions, sales, and any events to increase store engagement.
Requirements: Passion for customer service and a genuine interest in footwear and fashion. Good communication skills with a positive attitude. Ability to work well in a team and a fast-paced retail environment. Previous retail experience is advantageous but not required.
Cashiers
Our Cashiers ensure an efficient checkout experience for every customer, handling each transaction with accuracy and professionalism. This role requires strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering excellent customer service at the point of sale.
Responsibilities:
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for cash and card transactions. Welcome and thank customers, making them feel valued and appreciated. Handle daily cash-ups and maintain an accurate cash drawer. Manage customer inquiries regarding pricing, returns, and store policies. Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly checkout area and help with other store tasks when needed.
Requirements: Basic math and cash-handling skills. Friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak times. Previous cashier experience is a plus, but we welcome applicants who are eager to learn.
