Hollywoodbets is currently recruiting four Housekeeping employees to help maintain cleanliness, hygiene and organisation at its branches. The successful candidates will play an important role in ensuring that branch premises remain clean, presentable and ready for employees and customers throughout the day. This opportunity is suitable for candidates with housekeeping experience who take pride in maintaining clean facilities, pay attention to detail and can work efficiently in a busy environment.
JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of the Housekeeping position is to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the assigned branch. This includes indoor and outdoor areas, toilets, gaming areas, furniture, equipment and the surrounding car park. The successful candidates will ensure that cleaning duties are completed before opening, during operating hours and at closing time. They will also monitor cleaning supplies, report damaged items and help maintain the overall appearance and condition of the branch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. GENERAL CLEANING AND HOUSEKEEPING
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining clean and orderly branch premises.
Duties include:
Clean the branch before opening, during operating hours and at closing. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the branch, including the car park. Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum floors as required. Clean walls and other designated surfaces. Collect and dispose of refuse appropriately. Empty, wash or sanitise bins and replace refuse bags. Clean toilets and maintain hygienic sanitary facilities. Ensure that service areas remain neat and presentable during busy and quiet periods.
2. CLEANING FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT
Housekeeping employees must ensure that branch furniture and equipment are clean and ready for use.
Responsibilities include:
Wipe and clean tables, counters, chairs and other furniture. Clean TV screens, lights, machines and relevant equipment. Maintain the cleanliness of gaming areas, including tables and chairs. Monitor seat covers and request replacements when necessary. Check table legs for instability and report tables that require adjustment. Report damaged table edges or surfaces that may need refurbishment. Clean branch air-conditioning filters weekly, as required by the advertised duties. These responsibilities help maintain a professional environment for team members and customers.
3. CLEANING MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT
The successful candidates will be expected to use cleaning products and equipment appropriately.
Duties include:
Use cleaning chemicals and detergents correctly and responsibly. Monitor cleaning supplies and identify when additional products are needed. Request cleaning fluids and replacement equipment, such as mops, brooms and dusters, from the Branch Manager when required. Report broken or damaged items to the Branch Manager. Maintain good personal hygiene and wear the prescribed Hollywoodbets uniform in accordance with company rules.
4. REPORTING AND MAINTENANCE
Housekeeping employees must help maintain the condition of the branch by identifying and reporting issues that require attention. This includes reporting breakages, damaged furniture, worn cleaning equipment and other maintenance concerns to the Branch Manager. Candidates should pay attention to detail and follow through on assigned responsibilities to ensure that cleaning and maintenance needs are addressed.
