Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic Dis-Chem Health team. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in addressing customer inquiries related to our Dis-Chem Health Insurance and extra by Dis-Chem program. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the Dis-Chem brand and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
Essential:
High school diploma (Grade 10–12) or equivalent. Undergraduate qualification in Business Administration or Public Relations (advantageous). 1-3 years of experience in customer service or call center operations
Advantageous:
Diploma/Degree in Customer Service, Customer Relations, or Communications. Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Health Insurance customer service. Knowledge of Health Insurance industry
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
Address customer queries, compliments, and complaints via various platforms including C4C. Provide accurate product information related to Dis-Chem Health and extra by Dis-Chem offerings. Stay updated on product developments and collaborate with your manager to relay important information to customers. Serve as a bridge between clients and the Insurer (KAELO), maintaining clear communication channels. Uphold high communication standards in all interactions, both written and verbal
Problem Solving and Support:
Proactively identify and troubleshoot customer issues, offering timely and effective solutions. Ensure consistent and accurate information delivery to clients, promoting organizational coherence. Collaborate with consultants to provide updates to clients on queries and applications. Handle escalated problems with diligence and adherence to standard operating procedures. Escalate fraudulent activities for appropriate investigation
Client-Centric Approach:
Understand and fulfill customer needs, delivering top-tier service. Liaise with external parties such as KAELO to ensure accurate and detailed communication with clients. Uphold the Treating Customers Fairly outcomes and advocate for customer fairness across the business. Safeguard customer information in compliance with relevant data protection laws
Reporting and Administration:
Monitor customer churn rates and identify areas for improvement. Maintain accurate data records on CRM systems and admin trackers. Utilize SAP CRM for necessary customer information retrieval. Manage and report on customer queries received via various communication channels. Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements and report system issues
General Requirements:
Demonstrate excellent telephone and email etiquette in line with company standards. Adhere to Dis-Chem’s Policies and Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain punctuality and professionalism in time-keeping. Embrace Dis-Chem’s Customer Care SOPs
