Position Overview: Cashier Administrator
We are seeking a Cashier Administrator to spearhead daily operations at the till, manage transactions, and uphold the utmost standards of customer service. Operating within a 6-day work week, this role is pivotal in ensuring seamless customer experiences and operational efficiency. As a guardian of financial transactions and customer interactions, the Cashier Administrator’s role encompasses a range of responsibilities:
Till Management: Orchestrating the smooth functioning of the till, overseeing transactions, and maintaining accurate records. Cash Float Stewardship: Ensuring the proper allocation and management of the till’s cash float. Transaction Handling: Managing invoicing, lay-bays, receipts, returns, and refunds, all while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Petty Cash Oversight: Responsible for the proper administration of approved petty cash advances. Sales Orders and Administration: Assisting with sales order processing and engaging in general administrative tasks that facilitate operational flow. Customer-Centric Approach: Providing exceptional customer service that embodies the DECOFURN commitment to excellence. Cash Office Maintenance: Ensuring the cash office remains organized and conducive to operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Attributes:
We are searching for a candidate who embodies our commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
A minimum of a Grade 10-12 certificate or equivalent. A proven track record of 2+ years in a cashier role, demonstrating an aptitude for financial transactions and customer interactions. Familiarity with Sage Pastel software is considered advantageous. Proficiency in essential computer applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Sheets.
Impeccable attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions and administrative tasks. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, underscoring your ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a clear and articulate manner.
