Duties:
As a Cashier at Print at Group, your responsibilities will include:
Transaction Management: Efficiently manage transactions with customers using cash registers. Keep meticulous records of all cash and credit transactions. Price Accuracy: Scan goods accurately to ensure correct pricing.
Payment Handling: Receive payments, whether in cash or credit, and provide customers with receipts. Issue refunds, change, or tickets as needed. Customer Service: Cross-sell products and introduce new items to customers. Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information. Greet customers warmly upon entering or leaving the store.
Merchandise Handling: Handle merchandise returns and exchanges efficiently. Replenish stock to maintain store inventory levels. Food Handling: Participate in handling and packing food for various campaigns. Maintain strict hygiene standards in the workstation. Workstation Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness of the workstation and maintain a hygienic work ethic.
Requirements:
grade 11-12Matric (High School Diploma). 1-2 years of prior experience as a cashier. Proficiency in operating a cash register. Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen environment.
Manual dexterity, capable of operating Point of Sale (POS) systems, and basic computer literacy. Willingness to work occasional weekend shifts. Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not mandatory. Motivated and committed to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
