Purpose of the Role:
Pedro’s is seeking a dedicated and skilled Griller to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that quality food products are received, prepared, and served to our customers in accordance with our standard operating procedures (SOP). We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety while delivering exceptional service to our valued patrons.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Griller at Pedro’s, your core responsibilities will include:
Maintaining Cleanliness and Hygiene: Ensuring that all work areas, equipment, and utensils are kept clean and sanitized in accordance with SOP to guarantee a safe and hygienic food preparation environment.
Adhering to Food Safety Standards: Strictly following food safety guidelines and best practices to prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure the safety of our customers. Food Preparation: Accurately and efficiently preparing menu items as outlined in SOP while maintaining a consistent and efficient speed of service.
Customer Service Excellence: Providing exceptional customer service by ensuring that orders are prepared correctly, addressing customer inquiries, and accommodating special requests when possible.
Requirements:
To be considered for the Griller position, you must meet the following requirements:
Restaurant and Fast-Food Service Experience: A minimum of 1-year related experience in a restaurant or fast-food service environment is required. Customer Service Skills: A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Verbal Communication: Good verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. National Senior Certificate: Possession of a National Senior Certificate or equivalent educational qualification.
