Key Responsibilities:
As a Cashier/Sales Assistant at Anita’s Cosmetics, your primary responsibilities will include:
Cash Register Operations: Efficiently and accurately operate the cash register to process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments. Merchandising: Contribute to the visual appeal of the store by arranging and organizing merchandise displays to attract and engage customers.
General Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelving, product displays, and checkout areas. Customer Assistance: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, helping them locate items, and offering product recommendations.
Stock Management: Assist in executing stock takes to ensure accurate inventory management and replenishment of products. Order Management: Receive and process customer orders accurately, verifying product availability and ensuring timely delivery or pickup.
Retail Experience: Leverage your minimum of 3 years of retail experience to enhance the overall shopping experience for customers. Store Rotation: Be willing to rotate between stores as needed to support business operations effectively. Retail Hours: Be flexible to work retail hours, including Sundays and public holidays, to meet the needs of our customers.
Qualifications and Experience:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
Minimum of 1 years of retail experience, with a proven track record in cashiering and customer service roles. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and provide product information. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Flexibility to work in multiple store locations and during extended retail hours. Dedication to maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Basic computer skills for operating the cash register and other retail systems.
