About the Position:
Fix and Fit Security is seeking a dedicated Security Technician to join our team. As a Security Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of security equipment and systems. This role involves driving to allocated sites, conducting repairs, and evaluating sites to provide accurate quotations for faulty equipment. We emphasize delivering fast, friendly, and efficient service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
The Security Technician’s role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Site Evaluations: Drive to allocated sites scheduled by your coordinator to evaluate and assess faulty security equipment. Repairs: Perform repairs on various security products, including but not limited to CCTV systems, alarm systems, intercoms, gate motors, garage motors, electric fencing, and access control.
Quotations: Provide accurate quotations based on site evaluations, ensuring transparency and clarity in pricing. Client Interaction: Interact with clients professionally and effectively, delivering a high level of customer service. Daily Reporting: Submit quotations, reports, and invoices every morning before receiving a new log sheet for the day.
Desired Skills:
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies:
CCTV systems: Proficiency in repairing and installing CCTV systems. Alarm systems: Ability to work with alarm systems, including installation and repair. Intercoms: Knowledge and experience with intercom systems. Gate motors: Expertise in gate motor repair and maintenance. Garage motors: Proficiency in repairing and servicing garage motors.
Electric Fencing: Ability to handle electric fencing installations and repairs. Access Control: Knowledge of access control systems and maintenance. Alarm System Installation: Experience in installing alarm systems. IP CCTV: Familiarity with IP-based CCTV systems.
Desired Work Experience:
The ideal candidate should have 1 to 5 years of experience in Instrument & Equipment Installation/Repair, particularly in the field of security systems.
