JOB OVERVIEW
The Courier Guy is recruiting five Cleaners for permanent, on-site night-shift positions within its logistics and supply chain operations. The main purpose of the role is to keep assigned workplace areas clean, hygienic, and properly maintained. This is an entry-level position in the distribution function. Applicants should be prepared to carry out practical cleaning tasks, work with cleaning equipment, and maintain consistent standards of cleanliness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. GENERAL CLEANING AND HOUSEKEEPING
Cleaners will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the facility. This includes dusting surfaces, sweeping floors, vacuuming where required, and mopping floors to remove dirt and maintain a clean working environment. Employees must pay attention to areas that require regular cleaning and ensure that assigned spaces remain tidy and hygienic. Cleaning duties may also include cleaning ceiling vents and other designated areas as part of the facility’s cleaning requirements. The successful candidates must complete their duties carefully and consistently, helping to maintain an organised environment suitable for daily workplace operations.
2. RESTROOM CLEANING AND SANITATION
A key responsibility of the role is ensuring that restrooms remain clean, sanitary, and properly stocked. Duties include cleaning and sanitising restroom fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot-cleaning partitions, mopping tiled floors, emptying rubbish bins, and replacing bin liners. Cleaners must also replenish restroom supplies when necessary to help ensure that these areas remain usable and hygienic. Routine inspections should be performed at the specified times to identify areas that need attention. Cleaners must address cleaning requirements promptly and follow the established procedures for maintaining restroom hygiene.
3. DISINFECTION AND HYGIENE CONTROL

Employees must follow the relevant instructions and sanitation guidelines when using disinfectants and other cleaning materials. The role requires a consistent approach to hygiene, with particular attention to areas that need regular cleaning and sanitisation.
4. WASTE REMOVAL
The successful candidates will be responsible for emptying rubbish bins and other designated waste receptacles throughout their assigned areas.
