About the Position
Low Budget Cleaning is looking for a dedicated, reliable, and hardworking Cleaner to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. We are seeking an individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining clean, hygienic, safe, and well-organised environments.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that assigned residential, commercial, office, or other work areas are maintained to a consistently high standard. This position requires someone who is dependable, pays close attention to detail, follows instructions carefully, and is able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Cleaning is an important responsibility that requires commitment, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate should understand that their work contributes directly to the comfort, health, safety, and overall experience of clients and other people using the facilities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of general cleaning duties as assigned by the company or supervisor.
Responsibilities may include:
- Cleaning and maintaining offices, rooms, common areas, kitchens, bathrooms, entrances, and other designated areas.
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning floors.
- Dusting and wiping furniture, surfaces, equipment, fixtures, and other areas.
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, doors, and other designated areas.
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and other sanitary facilities.
- Emptying rubbish bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Replacing bin liners and maintaining clean waste disposal areas.
- Cleaning kitchen and staff areas and ensuring that these spaces remain hygienic.
- Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.
- Using cleaning products, equipment, and materials correctly and responsibly.
- Following all relevant workplace health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Reporting damaged equipment, maintenance issues, hazards, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Ensuring that cleaning equipment is properly stored and maintained after use.
- Completing assigned cleaning tasks within the required timeframes.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude while on duty.
- Treating company property, client property, equipment, and facilities with care and respect.
- Performing additional reasonable cleaning-related duties as instructed by management.
Quality and Attention to Detail
We are looking for someone who understands that professional cleaning involves more than simply completing basic tasks. The successful candidate must have a strong eye for detail and should be able to identify areas that require additional cleaning or attention. You will be expected to check your work carefully and ensure that assigned areas are left clean, tidy, hygienic, and presentable. A successful Cleaner should take personal responsibility for the quality of their work and should not require constant supervision to complete routine duties.
Working Independently and as Part of a Team
The successful applicant must be comfortable working independently when required. You may be assigned specific areas or tasks that need to be completed within a particular time frame. At the same time, cleaning operations often involve teamwork. Candidates must therefore be willing to cooperate with colleagues, supervisors, and clients where appropriate. Good communication is essential. You should be able to understand instructions, ask for clarification when necessary, communicate any problems promptly, and work respectfully with other members of the team.
Requirements

- Previous cleaning experience is essential.
